Welcome to Lower Winsford Farm, home to three cosy dog-friendly cottages in Devon. We are nestled near the Cornwall border in the charming village of Halwill Junction.
Our cottages are surrounded by woodland, open paddocks and beautiful gardens. Guests can also enjoy our private fishing lake and 18 acres of peaceful countryside. It is the perfect place to escape the pace of everyday life.
Enjoy relaxing countryside walks or peaceful moments beside the lake. You can also explore nearby Dartmoor National Park, traditional market towns and picturesque harbour villages. In addition, the beautiful South West coastline is within easy reach.
Spend your days watching wildlife from your cottage window or meeting our friendly alpacas, goats and chickens. Alternatively, simply unwind beside the lake with a good book and a cup of coffee.

Such a beautiful farm, full of peaceful walks, friendly animals and wonderful hosts. The cottage we stayed in had everything we needed, including a hot tub, and has been furnished to the highest standard. We enjoyed a picnic at the lake, hugs with the alpacas on site and visiting lots of quirky places nearby including a gorgeous beach too 😊 ❤️
